Dear Moore Park Gardens Residents,
As part of our commitment to a cleaner and greener community, we’re excited to share the latest waste disposal initiatives from the City of Sydney. Proper waste management is crucial to protecting our environment and ensuring our neighborhood remains a beautiful place to live. Here’s how you can safely dispose of household waste in 2025:
1. Recycle It Saturday – Convenient Drop-Off for Hard-to-Recycle Items

2. Household Chemical CleanOut – Safe Disposal of Hazardous Waste

- Solvents and paints
- Pesticides and herbicides
- Motor oils and fuels
- Car batteries
- Gas bottles
- Household cleaners
Upcoming Event: The 2025 date is yet to be confirmed. In the meantime, check for alternative drop-off locations via the NSW Environment Line at 131 555.

3. Bulk Waste Disposal – Designated Areas for Residents
To make waste disposal even more convenient, Moore Park Gardens provides designated bulk waste areas in each carpark, open to all residents from Friday to Monday. Building management organises weekly bulk waste pickups, including large household goods such as:
- Furniture
- Mattresses
- Whitegoods
- Other large unwanted items
Please ensure all bulk waste is placed in the designated areas during the open period and avoid leaving items outside of these times as they can cause trip hazards and safety risks. This helps keep our community clean and organised.
For any questions or assistance with bulk waste disposal, or where to find your buildings area, please contact Building Management.
