Building & Complex Info

Moore Park Gardens consists of 560 residential apartments and 11 commercial premises spread across 12 distinct buildings. While large in size the complex has a village-like atmosphere.

The apartment complex comprises four different strata plans, which means there are four groups of owners or Owners Corporations. In addition to the Owners Corporations is the Moore Park Gardens Community Association, which is responsible for the shared facilities of the complex, such as the main driveway and pool/gymnasium area. The Community Association sets rules for the buildings to ensure consistency across all common areas of the complex.

History since 1901

Originally a brewery established in 1893 by Reschs Limited, the iconic Sydney based beer brewing company. The 2.6 hectare property was acquired by the Resch family in 1900 and became a Sydney landmark, Reschs Brewery. Sensitive restoration of the existing heritage buildings, along with the development of a variety of modern apartments, commenced in the early 1990s and took approximately 10 years to build, with the final stage (Caley) being completed in the year 2000.

The development was integrated with the surrounding community by creating a number of buildings with their own identities and a series of quiet, publicly accessible open spaces across the site.

Easy & Simple Parking

Moore Park Gardens offers a wide range of parking facilities for residents and visitors. With secure under-cover parking available for each building in the complex, residents can ensure that their vehicle(s) are safe and protected.

Resident parking for Stages 1, 2 & 4 can be accessed via entrances along Charles Moore Avenue. Crescent Street entrance provides access for Stage 3.

There are car washing bays located in the car park area of each building. Please do not park your car in these areas unless you are washing your car.

One of the great things about Moore Park Gardens is the ability for your visiting guests to park close to your apartment.

The main entrance to the complex on Bourke Street leads into a long tree-lined paved driveway – Charles Moore Avenue. This is the location for most of the visitors’ parking spaces, alongside entrances to the secure residential car parks.

Long term parking for visitors is not permitted. For any questions about this please contact Building Management.

Please be warned that these visitor car spaces are regularly patrolled by Building Management & Security.

Members of Public are not permitted to park here and may be clamped or towed, be advised parking here is at your own risk.

For unloading items, parking is available in the loading bays located in the car parks. There are height restrictions for the car park entrance for each building as follows;

  • Reckitts/Argyle/Lemont/Bowers/Waverley – 2.1m
  • Caley – 2.1m
  • Dowling/Foveaux/Palmer– 3.1m
  • Grosvenor/Hopetoun – 3.1m

If the truck exceeds these height restrictions there are other locations around the complex where trucks can park. Please refer to the moving in/out instructions or contact Building Management for details of these areas. Residents are not permitted to move items through the buildings’ entrance foyers.

Garbage & Recycling

Most buildings have a garbage chute and recycling bin on each level. Please only put small items down the chute to avoid blockages.

There are also designated large communal waste and recycling bins in the car parks for larger items. Council collects household items such as mattresses and bulky items on a weekly basis, organised by Building Management. Please speak to Building Management for further information.

Phones & Internet

Your chosen internet and/or phone service provider may need access to the MDF room to finalise the connection to your property. Please contact Building Management/Security about providing this access.

If you are having problems with your internet connection please contact your provider. The Owners Corporation is only responsible for ensuring there is a working line from the MDF room to your property. All other connections are carried out by your service provider.
